 Seven pieces from de series ‘Hildegard’s Words’The exhibition opens with a small, transparent box. Not higher than 5 centimeters, not longer than 16 centimeters. In the little box is a rolled up piece of text. It seems a relic.
The exhibition closes with ‘ Hildegard’s Words ‘, a canvas of two by one and a half metres.
The project started with the music of the twelfth-century Hildegard von Bingen. Music released on CD and in recent years often on the radio. The words of her songs were the beginning of these works of art. In addition, the image of the Rhine landscape, where Hildegard lived and founded monasteries and composed her music. Then came the paint, and the colors.  In addition, there are also four acrylic paintings on paper, inspired by a poem by the Nobel Laureate Derek Walcott, died this spring this year.
